"When the flush of a new-born sun fell on Eden’s green and gold,
Our father Adam sat under the tree and scratched with a stick in the mould;
And the first rude sketch that the world had seen was joy to his mighty heart,
Til the Devil whispered behind the leaves, “It’s pretty. But is it Art?”

    What is a presentation? That is a just a moment you get an opportunity to feel the aura of the art work. I recorded everyone on my camera last presentation and didn't have a chance to see students’ works by myself. Laurie Brooks' works today was an opening for me. I want to see them flat, I really want to follow all it's curvy lines. What's a pleasure! Rust wasn't interesting on the pictures on website, but that is striking at close up. The rust makes her work vivid in contrasting to cool tones of graphite. I came home and the images of her works still emerging by my memories. Presentation is a date with an art piece. Beautiful work... thank you, Laurie.
